Rail Shelters protect products and goods from the elements during the transition between the loading dock and railway cars. Rail shelters are suspended on a steel frame and equipped with steel extension arms, allowing them to cover the gap between docks and rail cars.

Mechanical Rail Shelter

This three-sided frame/three-sided cover Mechanical Rail Shelter series offers simple, one-person operation thanks to its spring-tensioned upper frame assembly. Expect long-lasting economical performance with 100 percent corrosion-resistant hardware.

  • Includes Bottom Arms with Separate Rope & Pulley Retraction Systems (top of unit is stored first then each side is individually retracted)

Mechanical Rail Shelter

Featuring durable coated-fabric cover supported by spring-tensioned frames, this series Mechanical Rail Shelter is designed for one-person operation. Standard four-sided frame construction is available with a three or four-sided cover. The series is built with durable, 100 percent corrosion-resistant hardware.

  • Shelter Width is Typically 12″ Greater than Door Width.
  • Bottom of 700 Series Must Be Mounted 12″ Below Rail Dock Floor to Allow for Bottom 2 x 4 and Crossbar with Ropes & Pulleys
  • Top of Rail Shelter Typically 14′-6″ to 15′-6″ Off Top of Rail (and higher for some applications)

This Air Inflatable Rail Shelter series is designed for effective sealing of a wide variety of rail loading dock applications. Available in either three-sided or four-sided versions.
